Louisiana Lunkers is the statewide trophy largemouth bass recognition and conservation initiative dedicated to celebrating exceptional catches, honoring Louisiana anglers, and protecting the future of our fisheries.

Louisiana is home to some of the finest largemouth bass fishing in the country. From the cypress-lined bayous of the Atchafalaya Basin to the clear, deep waters of Toledo Bend, our state's fisheries produce trophy bass year after year — yet there has never been a dedicated statewide program to recognize and celebrate those exceptional catches.
Louisiana Lunkers was created to change that. We provide a structured, verified recognition program for trophy largemouth bass caught in Louisiana waters — honoring the anglers who land them, preserving the stories behind them, and promoting the conservation practices that will keep our fisheries thriving for generations to come.
How It Works
From Catch to Recognition
Land Your Trophy
Catch a qualifying largemouth bass (8.00 lbs or more) in Louisiana waters. Weigh it on a certified scale and document the catch with clear photographs.
Register Your Catch
Submit your catch through the official Louisiana Lunkers registration form. Provide your angler info, catch details, weight, lake, and photos.
Verification
Your submission is reviewed by a program administrator. Verified catches are approved and added to the public leaderboard and trophy wall.
Earn Recognition
Receive your official division award — certificate, plaque, merchandise, or premium prize package depending on your catch weight. Your catch is permanently recorded in Louisiana fishing history.
