A Louisiana Lunkers Conservation Initiative

Restoring the Paradise

Cleaner Waters. Healthier Fisheries. Stronger Traditions.

Louisiana has always been known as the Sportsman's Paradise. But paradise doesn't protect itself.

Our lakes, rivers, bayous, and fisheries are part of who we are. They're where memories are made, traditions are passed down, and generations of sportsmen discover their love for the outdoors.

Louisiana Lunkers is committed to restoring and protecting these natural treasures through cleaner waterways, healthier fisheries, improved habitats, and stronger communities.

We're not just chasing bigger bass. We're building a better future for Louisiana's waters.

Join us in Restoring the Paradise.

Our Mission

Restoring Louisiana's Sportsman's Paradise

Our mission is to restore, protect, and enhance Louisiana's lakes, rivers, bayous, fisheries, and natural habitats through waterway cleanup, fisheries management partnerships, habitat restoration, conservation education, and community involvement. Our goal is to create cleaner waterways, healthier fish populations, better fishing opportunities, and a stronger outdoor heritage for future generations.

Adopt-a-Lake Program

Adopt a Lake — Make a Lasting Difference

Allow businesses, fishing clubs, community organizations, and individuals to help sponsor conservation projects at specific Louisiana lakes. Participating sponsors can help support organized cleanup events, trash removal and prevention, fishing line recycling, fish habitat projects, conservation signage, and youth education programs.

Sponsorship payments will not be processed until payment methods and program terms have been approved.

River Section Sponsor

Sponsor Your River. Protect Your Parish.

Louisiana's rivers run through the heart of every parish in the state. The River Section Sponsor program allows businesses, fishing clubs, and individuals to claim sponsorship of a specific section of a Louisiana river within their parish — supporting cleanup events, habitat projects, conservation signage, and volunteer coordination for that stretch of water.

As a River Section Sponsor, your contribution helps fund:

  • Organized cleanup events for your sponsored river section
  • Trash and debris removal along the shoreline and banks
  • Fishing line recycling stations at key access points
  • Conservation signage recognizing your sponsorship
  • Habitat improvement projects within your section
  • Volunteer coordination and event logistics

Sponsor Recognition

River Section Sponsors are recognized by name on the Louisiana Lunkers conservation page, at cleanup events, and on conservation signage placed along their sponsored river section.

$2,500

annually per river section
